J H Hutchinson & Sons Ltd is a family owned company, run by father and son, Richard and Ian Hutchinson.
HISTORY
J H Hutchinson & Sons has operated since 1935 when Richards father, Joseph Henry Hutchinson, purchased an established removal / coal leading (delivery) business.
The business consisted of 1 vehicle that had 2 detachable bodies. One body allowed the leading / delivery of coal and the other body allowed the vehicle to be used for furniture removals.
During the working day, the bodies would be swapped over to accommodate both types of work. Over time both of these types of delivery were superceded by general haulage.
